Chevron is fun and simple! Whether you prefer wide stripes or narrow, even spacing or mismatched sizes, chevron is a perfect pattern for afghans, baby blankets, and throws. Here is an easy pattern for wide striped chevron!
For my blanket I used a size H hook and 6 skeins of I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. You can change hook sizes, or types of yarn for a different look and it won’t affect the chevron pattern! This pattern is worked in multiples of 22+1, so use this as a guide to change your beginning foundation chain if you want to make the entire blanket wider or narrower.
Sample pictures are included after each row as a guide. I used different colors for each row to make them stand out more, but the pattern is written for 8 rows in each color. Feel free to change colors whenever you’d like for a unique look!
*I HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PATTERN. TRY TO USE THE PICTURE REFERENCE GUIDE. I WILL BE RECORDING A VIDEO TUTORIAL SOON SO CHECK BACK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.*

I just love the color yellow right now! When my friend, Tabitha (Fresh Mommy Blog) asked me to make a yellow and white chevron baby blanket for her newest baby boy, I was so excited! She already knew exactly what she had in mind, so all I had to do was crochet!
